Ģ.73km from Cafe Pub Akelarre We had a really lovely holiday in this perfectly located hotel directly on a very pretty beach and with numerous restaurants on the doorstep. If & when we return for any future holidays we would not hesitate to stay at Apolo. We choose to stay at the hotel due to its short taxi trip €15 from the airport and our previous holidays. The food in the snack bar at lunch time is also very good. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the hotel is kept very clean. The bathroom with a shower, which was a little small, but there was a window to open. The rooms are not very big and storage is limited, only one drawer with hanging space above. I also asked if we could have a kettle and it was in our room on our arrival. We had a pool/sea view room that I had requested on the 5th floor. We enjoyed our stay very much, the breakfast & evening meals are very good, although as a previous reviewer had said the food is not always very hot, but a lot of choices available both for breakfast & evening dinner.

We had EJ flights and there were no flights available back to Bristol for 4 days, we managed to get flights with BA back to Heathrow the day before the strike began, which did make our holiday quite costly.

Unfortunately our stay was cut short by a day due to the French ATC strike. 2.45km from Cafe Pub Akelarre This was our third stay at Apolo.
